Our team

The Conference Office was established at Downing in the late 80's, what started as an individual running the office alone, has now expanded to a highly experiencedteam of 8. Our staff have many years' experience in the events industry and offer exceptional service and support from your initial enquiry, on the day support, through to the conclusion of your event.

Our team have a great friendship andregularly have outings together, whichtranslates to howefficiently we work as a unit to ensure all guests have the best experience when they use our modern and unique facilities. The dedicated events team are always on hand to help with any requirements and go above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly and effortlessly for your event.

Our highly experienced AV Support offer on the day technical assistance or set up required, so there is no need to worry. Conferences using our state of the artHoward Theatre will have the Theatre Manager's services throughout the duration to run all your AV requirements so you can have peace of mind it will run smoothly on the day. Kerry-Ann, our Wedding Coordinator, has over 20 years experience within hospitality and is dedicated to ensuring that your day is as special and perfect as can be.
